The Superintendent’s Advisory Group for Education (SAGE) will be meeting Monday, January 12th. Our goal is to facilitate the communications between MTSD families and administrators of the schools they attend. If you have any unresolved questions or concerns about our school or questions or concerns at the district level that you would like for us to share on your behalf at this meeting, please direct them to our school’s PTO by email or speak directly with a SAGE Representative at our next PTO meeting or before our next SAGE meeting on January 12. Manheim Township Middle School is collecting boxed and canned food items for our Turkey Basket drive! The goal is to provide families with everything necessary to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for a family of eight to twelve people. Families in need of support during this season within the district are first on our list to receive a basket.   Next, local churches and social agencies take the baskets to families in their care. Turkey baskets must be ready by Tuesday,November 18th, so items must be delivered to the office lobby or sent in with your child to their homeroom by then. If you are interested in contributing, check out the list on the back of the letter and have your child sign up in their homeroom for items.   Then, they can bring them into their homeroom.  There will also be a basket in the lobby for items, if you would prefer to drop off items that way.  Once again, the last day to do this is Tuesday, November 18th.
