SLAC, or Superintendent’s Lay Advisory Council, is a district-level organization. Its goal is to facilitate communication directly between the superintendent and the parents and guardians of the student body.  SLAC members are appointed by school principals to represent the school’s PTO.  SLAC members share information presented at meetings with their PTO, as well as provide the Superintendent with PTO feedback, concerns, and observations. For more information on SLAC, please contact your student’s principal or one of your school’s SLAC representatives.
